Pitts Special
The Pitts Special is one of history's most iconic aerobatic biplanes, designed by American Curtis Pitts back in 1944 and a giant of competition aerobatics through the 1960s and 70s. Black Horse renders the classic as a compact, light ARTF at a 1500 mm wingspan, built entirely from balsa and plywood and factory-covered in Oracover.
With a 1.20-class engine (or 20cc petrol) she floats around the sky with the agility that made the original a benchmark for aerobatics. Supplied factory-built with durable Oracover, a GRP cowl and a high-grade aluminium main gear with sprung-wire tailwheel (included) – a rewarding machine for the experienced pilot.
